Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To: Responsible for the daily tasks related to collection efforts of a portfolio of customer accounts.

  • Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers using Credit applications, D&B reporting, and other relevant documentation.

  • Initiates credit reviews on new as well as existing customers.

  • Initiates collection calls/contact on all past due accounts 10 days or greater beyond terms for their assigned districts

  • Work closely with sales, finance, and other departments to resolve disputes and ensure timely payments.

  • Processing of all credit card payments within their designated region.

  • Reconciliation of all related over/short payments and deductions on customer accounts.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant financial regulations and standards.

  • Completing vendor references.

  • Evaluates credit limits and terms

  • Other duties may be assigned, as warranted by the daily workflow.

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess 1 – 3 year’s collection experience.

  • Understanding of quality customer service and the relationship to collection efforts.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • An ability to apply effective problem-solving skills.

  • Credit/collection experience preferred.

  • Ability to communicate clearly.

  • Ability to effectively problem solve while maintaining a skillful, professional demeanor.

  • Effective communication skills which include verbal and written

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office
