Robert Half Talent Solutions has partnered with a global services leader on their search for a productive Cost Accountant with strong Microsoft Excel expertise. As the Cost Accountant, you will create and implement standard costs, manage and update costs estimates, perform financial data analysis, assist with the annual budget process, and join in on month/year end close activities. The successful candidate will have proven ERP experience, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent time management skills.

What you get to do everyday

· Assist with product unit costing

· Maintain up to date expenses database

· Participate in month end close activities

· Review variances

· Prepare detailed financial reports/statements

· Monthly journal entries

· Account reconciliation

· Prepare cost forecast

· Implement process improvements where needed

Requirements

The ideal Cost Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Cost Accountant role include and are not limited to:

· 3+ years of cost accounting experience

· BI software experience a plus but not required

· Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
