Configuration Management Specialist

Location: Hybrid, Home-based, or Office-based in the US (ET or CT preferred)

Position Summary:

As a Configuration management specialist in Device Management, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient and secure management solutions for both Windows and Apple devices.

Your expertise in Microsoft Intune and Apple JAMF will play a critical role in ensuring seamless device provisioning, configuration, security, and compliance.

Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for Windows devices Enforce policies, profiles, and compliance settings.

Implement conditional access and mobile application management (MAM) Deploy and manage Apple devices using JAMF Pro.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Software distribution: Creation, testing, deployment and maintenance of software distribution packages on corporate standard applications.

• Configuration management: Architect, propose, and develop system configuration management solutions to meet business requirements.

• Apple device Management: Use JAMF Pro for setting up profiles, configurations, security settings, and ensure seamless integration with MacOS and iOS environments.

• Optimization: Propose roadmaps for gaps to meet the high standards of business requirements

• Updates Deployment: Evaluating and deploying security updates, collections, packages, and advertisements across multiple client compute platforms.

• Documentation: Create technical requirements & functional use of enterprise business applications.

• Change and Problem management: Participate in change management and problem management with an ITSM tool.

What You Bring to The Team:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, equivalent field, or relevant experience training and experience.

• 3-5 years of experience administering & managing tools such as Endpoint Manager, Intune, and JAMF.

• Understanding of system configuration management in an Enterprise environment.

• 3-5 years of experience of scripting in PowerShell, and/or shell/bash.

• Experience with SCCM (collections, Update deployment, OSD, software deployment, baselining).

• 3-5 years of experience of Azure/Azure AD.

• Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO) creation and management.

• 3-5 years' experience managing/administering Modern device management (Windows Autopilot).

• Experience with SQL & WQL queries.

• ITIL foundation V3 certification.

• This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, hybrid, home-based, or office-based in the US.

• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any otherphysical requirements (https://www.bls.gov/ors/factsheet/visual-overview-of-physical-demands.htm) ). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
