Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in the IT Software industry, based in Exton, Pennsylvania. This role involves assisting with order entry of invoices, generating reports, and undertaking analytical projects, with a focus on accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the entry of invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Generate detailed reports using various software like Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Participate in analytical projects to support financial decision-making

• Utilize accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools for efficient operations

• Assist in maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Collaborate with various teams to resolve customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account status

• Develop proficiency in various software like Acomba, Cl Programming, and ERP for effective performance

• Ensure adherence to accounting functions and standards in all tasks

• Assist in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations as well as check processing activities.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Familiarity with Acomba software

• Knowledge of Cl Programming will be advantageous

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Experience with IBM AS/400 software is beneficial

• Proficiency in About Time software is advantageous

• Ability to perform diverse Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Check Processing is essential

• Entry-level accounting experience or relevant education is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
