What you will be doing:

You will be working alongside our clients and their delivery partners to ensure projects and programmes are completed within the agreed parameters. Drawing from your appreciation of, or wealth of experience, you will be applying processes and systems that help plan, monitor, and control all phases of the capital project lifecycle.

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide planning/project control services and associated analysis of resulting data in support of multiple projects.

• Build and maintain the project schedule in accordance with programme and project requirements.

• Develop breakdown structures, quality criteria, product descriptions and monitoring strategy.

• Support the project manager to identify options to optimise delivery through resource smoothing, resource levelling and rescheduling of activities.

• Challenge and test project assumptions to ensure that plans are realistic and achievable.

• Interface directly with internal and external clients to review project plans, budgets, status reports and deliverables.

About you

You will be passionate about delivering new infrastructure and keen to be involved in delivering some of the largest and most important infrastructure projects in the UK.

You will also be capable of ensuring projects are delivered to proposed timelines & budgets through careful monitoring and working closely with key stakeholders.

Finally, you’ll be adaptable to working in different environments and have a proactive approach to developing tailor-made project controls solutions.
