What We Need:
Program Leadership:
Partner with the Director of Vocational Services to oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.
Design and execute innovative programs and strategies to improve employment training results for individuals with disabilities.
Assess program effectiveness and offer data-driven suggestions for enhancements.
Team Management:
Directly mentor a team of vocational specialists, job coaches, and support staff.
Cultivate a collaborative and supportive team culture that encourages professional growth and development.
Provide guidance and assistance to staff in managing complex employment scenarios and overcoming obstacles.
Goal Achievement:
Contribute to the creation of comprehensive training programs to boost job readiness and employability.
Support staff in setting clear goals and developing person-centered lesson plans.
Track and monitor progress toward goals.
Organize weekly staff meetings to address challenges and identify suitable technology and assistive devices.
Administrative Duties:
Handle scheduling, reporting, and documentation tasks.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist with budgeting and resource management for vocational services programs.
What You Need:
Bachelor's degree required
Experience in staff supervision and management.
Familiarity with NJ State DVRS and DDD regulations related to employment services for individuals with disabilities preferred but will train if needed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think innovatively and devise creative solutions to complex challenges.
Passion for empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential.
