At Safran Electrical & Power, our vision is smarter electrical solutions for a better flight. We currently have openings for multiple Temporary Mechanical Engineer III's for approximately 12 months in Bothell, WA.

In this role, you will use engineering principles to develop and design parts, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies and systems. You'll have the opportunity to translate technical requirements into work requirements, processes, and tasks, and perform spatial integration at system or component level of mechanisms or systems. This position contributes to our vision by:

• Developing:

• New designs and modify existing ones

• Detailed designs and drawings

• Installation drawing

• System architecture

• Preparing, reviewing, and validating structural and systems layouts, preliminary sizing, installations, assembly and detail drawings

• Leading the integration with technology, stress, systems, manufacturing, and test teams

• Collaborating and coordinating with the customer to develop solutions

Complementary Description

Candidates for positions with Safran Electrical & Power must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire.

Job Requirements

Safran Electrical & Power looks for service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, the right attitude and adaptability to an innovative and evolving environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree

• 6-9 years experience in an engineering classification in the aerospace industry

• Experience with Water and Waste Systems

• Proficiency in using Inventor

• Advanced understanding of stress analysis concepts and methodologies
