The Production Supervisor partners with the production manager to lead teach, coach and mentor operations personnel. This role leads 2 - 10 employees in the production process. Responsibilities include, performing complex rework and first article builds of the highest complexity parts; training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; providing input/assistance in the appraisal of employee performance; addressing complaints and issue resolution. Promotes lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes. Supervisor in this role is expected to build and fabricate parts while also maintaining their leadership responsibilities of the team.

Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience (+2 years)

Knowledge: Strong understanding of production procedures, standards and knowledge of Quality Control Standards and systems.

Experience: 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing environment, plus minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

Computer Skill: Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, ERP system.

Other Skills: Well organized, planning and time management skills, quality oriented, problem solving. Ability to lead teams, conduct meetings, give direction/delegate, and train/coach/mentor employees.
