SUMMARY: We're hiring several Seat Shop Apprentices to join our team immediately! You'll handle basic seat modifications and maintenance under supervision. No experience is necessary, but familiarity with tools like wrenches, sockets, and screwdrivers is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Remove and install seat control boxes.
- Inspect seats per Engineering documents.
- Remove and replace seat cushions, armrests, seat backs, and table trays.
- Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by providing progress updates and addressing any difficulties encountered.
- Complete on-the-job training (OJT) forms and required reading promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

*SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY: *Duties shall include observing all company, health, safety and environmental rules, ensuring that you are provided with full information on your area specific safety issues, all unique hazards are identified, and you are provided with the proper equipment to carry out your job in a safe manner. Also, the entire work area must be maintained to a high standard of housekeeping and low incidence of physical hazards and all accidents must be promptly reported to your supervisor or manager.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel at all levels regarding job related issues. • Demonstrate a desire and ability to learn new tasks. • Ability to work with or learn to work with basic tools and mechanical systems. • Meet all regulatory requirements per 14 CFR Part 65.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- No prior experience is required.
- Must be familiar with basic tools.
- FAA Airframe or Powerplant license or enrollment in part 147 school preferred

Compensation
The base salary for this position is $20.00 -- $21.25 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on f
