Aerotek Traveling Mechanic in Evansville, Wyoming

Hiring Traveling Mechanics

Pay: $35-$40/hr

Job Description

  • Responsible for conducting regular maintenance, inspections, and assembly of industrial equipment.

  • Assemble mechanical components, oversee diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues, and actively design maintenance plans including tasks for upgrades and replacements.

  • Maintain work logs, manage repairs and maintenance records, order inventory and new parts, and assess equipment to alert clients on issues or potential proactive issues.

  • Uphold safety policies, standards, and procedures, and report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with generators, compressors, and diesel engines

  • Must be able to do troubleshooting and diagnosing

  • Must be computer literate in order for record keeping

Work Site

  • This is a fully on-site position with locations in Wyoming

  • Candidates coming from out of state will be given per diem on top of hourly wage

Work Environment

  • Shop and field positions open

  • Shop hours are from 7 am to 6 pm

  • Field technicians are on call 24/7

  • Overtime is expected, with a maximum of 6 12-hour shifts
