Travel Exercise Physiologist - Days - Evansville, IN
40 MILE RADIUS RULE - NO LOCAL CANDIDATES
$2,606 Gross weekly pay plus on-call and call back pay
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shifts: 5x8s (7-4:30PM) CST
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Primary Location: Evansville, IN
Float Requirements: will be required to float between Deaconess Midtown (Evansville, IN) and Deaconess Gateway (Newburgh, IN). 7.9 miles apart. (Assigned to a campus prior to start of their shift). Mid-shift floating rare, mainly the TL would do this – but could occur in an urgent need.
On Call: call requirements are with the weekend rotation. Response time: 45 minutes. They are almost always here on Saturdays for tests that rollover but usually have to wait for a call to come in on Sunday.
Weekends: rotating every 3rd weekend. Call: Saturday/Sunday
Holidays: rotating every 3rd holiday (will only take call)
Required certifications to be attached upon submittal: Certified Cardiographic Technician-CCI Credentialing, AHA BLS & AHA ACLS
Minimum experience required: 2 years of experience, must have completed 200 stress tests according to AHA guidelines
NO NEW TRAVELERS - at least 1 travel assignment completed
Equipment: Equipment used by these nurses includes treadmill, case machine, ekg machine. Documentation within MUSE and Cupid/Epic.
Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, social candidates.
Scrub requirement: Navy Blue
**3 call ins will result in contract termination

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
Under the direction and guidance of a Registered Nurse, theCardiac Monitor Technician assists other members of the healthcare team indiagnosing conditions related to the patient’s heart function by usingnoninvasive monitoring techniques such as electrocardiograms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews patient records to determine normal heart rhythms
Monitors current patterns and noting any deviations
Observes monitor screen and listening for alarms that wouldidentify abnormal heart rhythm variations
Performs EKG interpretations by analyzing and recordingatrial and ventricular raters and rhythms
Notifies nurses immediately of loss of clear telemetrysignal and arranges for coverage when leaving monitor room
Recognizes and immediately reports dysrhythmias to the nurse
Recognizes interference and artifact and can troubleshootand correct problems
Notifies nurses and/or doctors when needed
Cleans and maintains equipment, ensuring batteries arecharged and installed properly
Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of a hospital-approved arrhythmiainterpretation class
Successful completion of a monitor technician course may berequired per contract
Minimum of one (1) year work experience in cardiacmonitoring preferred • Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
Participation and completion of Amergis’ Competency programwhen applicable
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Successful completion of new hire training as applicable tojob site
Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAArequirements
Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to andfrom appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors,co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in theEnglish language is required
Computer proficiency required
Must be at least 18 years of age
