VCA All Pet Emergency Center is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician (or RVT-eligible) with a passion for emergency medicine to join our team!

Location: 104 S Heidelbach Ave, Evansville, IN 47713

We provide after hours emergency and critical care services in Evansville, IN, open weekday nights and weekends Thursday through Monday.

Shift Hours:

Friday 6 pm to Monday 8 am (Weekends open 24 hour)

Monday 6 pm - Tuesday 8 am

Thursday 6 pm - Friday 8 am

Major Holidays open 24 hours

About the Role

As Veterinary Technician, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

• Client education and communication

• Patient triage

• Venipuncture

• Catheter placement

• Radiology

• Anesthesia monitoring

• Physical examinations and patient assessment

• Surgical preparation and assisting

• Laboratory work

• Pharmacy

• Patient recovery

• Compassionate patient care
