Electrical Engineer - Evansville, IN

We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team in Evansville, IN. This person will specifically with the Electrical Department for a variety of clients, focusing mostly on Industrial Electrical Design projects and collaborating with the Architecture department to complete Commercial projects (healthcare, higher education). This position is open due to the consistent and growing project demands, and this team has demonstrated strong retention of their people. This person will have the chance to interface directly with clients to define problems, conceptualize solutions, and present their ideas. This is a great chance for someone with a couple years of experience to work directly with the Senior Principal Engineer and other experienced Engineers to support a variety of interesting projects while developing their career in a stable company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Electrical Engineering Calculations and Design, including but not limited to: Panel Design, Transformer Sizing, Sizing Wires, Sizing Breakers, Routing Conduit and Wire, Lighting, and minimal Voltage Drop Calculations

• Develop Engineering and Construction Probably Cost Estimates; Construction Documents; Scopes of Work; Schedules; and Documents for Bid Packages

• Conduct Client Meetings to Confirm Client Requirements and Develop Scope of Projects

• Direct Drafting Personnel to Develop Project Documents and Final Construction Drawings

• Conduct On-Site Surveys to Establish and Document accurate Field Conditions

• Assist with Field Investigations required for Project Development

• Monitor Construction Activities to assure Quality for Clients

• Coordinate with other Departments throughout the Project

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

• 3+ Years of Experience in Electrical and Wiring Design, preferably on Industrial Projects

• Understanding of: Panel Design, Transformer Sizing, Sizing Wires, Sizing Breakers, Routing Conduit and Wire, and Lighting

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Design Software

• Preferred - Proficiency in Revit

• Preferred - EIT or PE License

• Target compensation is between $60,000-95,000/year depending entirely on relevant Electrical Design Engineering experience. Candidates with a PE License may receive additional flexibility.
