Description

We are seeking a hands-on Principal Technical Lead with strong front-end development experience, familiarity with front end technologies, and proven project management capabilities. The right candidate will have a firm grasp of web analytics tools, agile methodologies, and proven experience in guiding teams towards successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform full-lifecycle software development tasks in an Agile environment.

2. Direct and guide a development team in creating reusable components for our design systems.

3. Prioritize tasks sourced from multiple teams, assess their impact, and schedule work accordingly.

4. Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including UX Teams, Architects, Tech Leads.

5. Deliver and maintain extensive project documentation.

6. Collaborate with teams to migrate from Drupal 7 to Sitecore CMS.

7. Implement web accessibility guidelines in all web project developments.

8. Monitor web analytics and derive insights for strategy development.

   Requirements

9. A computer science degree or equivalent work experience in web technologies.

10. 8+ years' experience in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), delivering web applications in an Agile environment.

11. 5+ years of experience writing client-side and server-side code for web apps/services.

12. 3+ years of direct people management including coaching, mentoring, and guiding staff.

13. Proven experience developing software using JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js, etc.

14. Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, Gatsby, Sitecore is a definite plus.

15. Mastery of code management tools and techniques using Git and services like GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, etc.

16. Proven experience working with a design system or style guide.

17. Exceptional communication and project management skills.

18. Familiarity with online/web analytics tools such as Adobe or Google Analytics.
