About the Job

The EMEA Commercial & Business Development team is looking for an Intern to collaborate on projects focused on ELC development of Wholesale channel (Online and Brick & Mortar). The selected candidate can expect continuous leadership development, hands-on practical experience and a strong exposure with the Affiliates and Regional Brand Teams.

About Your Responsibilities

  • Support development of commercial strategies with key European retailers: conduct various strategic analyses (including competitive, financial and strategic assessments by brand, category, country or channel) and monitor implementation and results of priority projects

  • Support preparation and facilitation of business reviews and leadership meeting (top to top meetings, commercial leadership meetings, regional brand meetings)

  • Develop, update and manage internal communication tools within the commercial leadership community (monthly dashboard, sharepoint, etc.) in collaboration with Regional Brand Teams and Affiliates

  • Work closely with regional or local resources to lead ad hoc strategic projects (data sharing, commercial terms, sustainability, etc.)

  • Collaborate with the Sustainability team to coordinate the assessments of our current product portfolio and innovations through the lens of key retailers programs and drive partnership with retailers around sustainability driven initiatives

  • Work closely with brand teams to monitor and implement differentiation opportunities, identifying best practices, winning strategies, retailers’ strategic roadmaps and industry trends to fuel ELC strategies

Qualifications

About You

Available 6 months starting July 24

Minimum Education Level: Completing Post-Graduate Degree Business or Engineering (equivalent BAC 5)

Minimum Years and Area of Experience: previous internship experiences mandatory, end-of-studies internship preferred

Required Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, French is not mandatory but recommended

Licenses or Certifications: Completing Post-Graduate Degree Business or Engineering (equivalent BAC 5)

  • High drive & commitment to topics and tasks at hand; motivated & willing mindset

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, with exposure to several markets and product categories

  • Strong analytical skills and proven rigor: advanced Excel skills required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare impactful presentations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and properly manage exposure with senior management

  • Business-sense and curiosity mindset with the will to drive for impact in all projects

  • Ability to step back, to be solution-oriented and make proposals

  • Knowledge of/interest in beauty or luxury goods industries recommended
