The fame of M·A·C has continued to grow through the word of mouth of makeup artists, models, photographers and journalists around the

world.

All ages, all races, all sexes. M·A·C Cosmetics honors all types of beauty. Supporting the right for everyone to use makeup as a tool of personal expression, M·A·C offers a range of professional products. Tested backstage at fashion shows, then in store in a unique atmosphere, products are proposed and explained by professional makeup artists. Its efforts against AIDS, its products not animal-tested and recycling programs are part of M·A·C culture, ethics and identity.

We are looking for a full-time Trade Marketing Assistant for 2 years in the European headquarters starting August 19 th 2024.

Key responsibilities:

Working with the marketing team in the EMEA headquarters (Europe, Middle East, Africa - based in Paris), the Trade Marketing Assistant will be in charge of developing and executing the promotional strategy of the brand for the 19 European markets, and will participate in the following missions (see “key tasks” section below)

Key tasks:

Develop and produce regional promotional tools (kits, GWP) for:

  • Key celebration moments (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, National Lipstick days)

  • Punctual repromotion of product category

  • Design commercial offers to drive sales uplift while protecting brand equity and secure profitability.

  • Coordinate the creation of the necessary assets for the launch with respective Regional teams – Creative, CRM, Consumer Marketing, Online.

  • Ensure proper implementation of the promotional strategy with the markets.

  • Improve reporting processes to track results of commercial activations and constantly evaluate their effectiveness and value, and provide feedback to Global Marketing.

  • Support affiliates to develop initiatives addressing local needs.

  • Competition watch to nourish Global team on relevant consumer insights / trends in EMEA.

  • Strong collaborative approach with Product Marketing, Creative, Retail, Online and Demand Planning

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: newly graduate from higher education Bac 4/5 or Business Schools

Minimum Years and Area of Experience: first experience in Marketing, ideally in product activation

Required Language Proficiency: English

Additional Job Specifications:

  • First experience in Marketing, ideally in product activation is required.

  • Strong ability in project Management, with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Entrepreneur attitude able of agility. Structured, strong team player.

  • Pragmatic results oriented. Excellent communication and human relations skills.

  • English fluent, you enjoy working in an international environment.

  • Being excited to work in the Cosmetics industry is definitely a plus!
