Avera Marshall Physical Therapist Assistant - Fulltime in Eureka, South Dakota
Job Summary:
Treats patients, infant to geriatric, with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain, develop or restore function and achieve maximum performance, including long and short term goals, under the direction of the physical therapist.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
Education:
Must be a graduate of or certified from a physical therapy assistant curriculum that is accredited by the APTA accrediting body.
License/Certification/Registration:
Certified by the SD State Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners.
BLS and AED certified
