Job Title: Operator 2, Manufacturing
Job Description
Candidates must be comfortable formulating, filling, and labeling. This job entails working in a laboratory setting while completing routine work, with occasional variations from the norm, involving a moderate degree of complexity. Attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.
Responsibilities
Complete production and quality analysis of reagents, components, and finished products in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and the Production Schedule to ensure timely availability of cost-effective products of high quality.
Effectively communicate and interface with workgroups to ensure the completion of daily production.
Work in both standard and cleanroom environments while adhering to room-specific PPE requirements.
Operate and/or monitor production equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results if required in the work area.
Work alone or with other technicians to perform formulating, filling, and/or labeling of products.
Comprehend production paperwork up to and including product reconciliation, label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, torque checks, etc.
Follow steps in the manufacturing paperwork without deviating from instructions.
Work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.
Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.
Comply with ISO guidelines and all company SOPs.
Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware, or equipment as needed or directed, if required in the work area.
Work overtime and flexible shifts.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in cleanroom environments.
Familiarity with PPE requirements.
Understanding of quality records and regulatory compliance.
Ability to calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
Experience in in-process sampling and testing.

Work Environment
Operate processing and packaging equipment including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment. Weigh, measure, and check raw materials with the assistance of a computer interface to ensure batches contain proper materials and quantities. Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment. Perform in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specifications. Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures. Follow all safe practices and SOPs. Complete and maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and standard operating procedures. Maintain equipment and lab room to ensure proper operating conditions and cleanliness. May be required to perform other related duties as needed. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action, receiving general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments. Encounter recurring work situations with occasional variations, involving a moderate degree of complexity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EUGENE, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90/hr.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Eugene,OR.
