As a Hunter Communications Field Technician, you\'ll interact daily with our customers bringing them the latest in internet technologies. You are to effectively communicate with customers and work with a sense of urgency. Most of the work is outdoors so the right candidate will be comfortable working in inclement weather, while climbing/working from ladders, and should have experience with hand tools. The Field Technician performs all responsibilities related to installing wireless, fiber, and COAX services. They perform maintenance and repair service for customers. Work is performed at single family homes, apartment complexes, and businesses ranging from small offices or restaurants to hospitals. **This is a full-time position that will be placed on a rotating on-call schedule and may require weekend work as well as overtime. Pay is DOE. Job Duties: - Perform new wireless, fiber, and COAX installations, reconnects, upgrades and disconnects for internet and phone services. - Install all services up to Hunter Communications standards and specifications. Installations could include relocating cable outlets, adding router and modems, interior and exterior wiring paths. - Provide first-class customer service including detailed customer education on all products. - Assist in training new Field Technicians (adjusted workload will be provided accordingly). - Occasional out of town travel may be required. Job Requirements: - Telecommunications experience preferred but not required - To pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check - To be on call as needed, including nights and holidays - To maintain a clean driving record - Additional qualifications as outlined in the regional Field Technician Tier Lists Working conditions: - Work inside buildings as well as outside in a variety of weather conditions. - To be comfortable with heights, working while on a ladder as well as working in the extended bucket of an aerial bucket truck. - To be comfortable working in confined spaces, such as attics and basements. Physical Requirements: - To occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 lb., lift and carry extension ladders up to 32\' - To operate both electric and standard hand tools. - Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, crawling, climbing, and twisting for prolonged periods - Use of hands and fingers, handle, and operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms - Specific vision requirements include close vision and to adjust focus, to distinguish color in graphs, charts, e
