Eaton Corporation Value Stream Manager in Euclid, Ohio

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager. This role is onsite at our Euclid, OH facility. Manufacturing engine fuel pumps for both military and commercial aircraft, our Euclid facility has approximately 330 employees.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

This position will be responsible for overseeing and leading all activities associated with the repair and overhaul of aftermarket fuel pumps, Gear motors, boost pumps and other misc. products. The position will also, as needed, support the aftermarket spare part distribution center operations. The MRO Value Stream Manager will be responsible for the supervision and development of all MRO direct employees and planning resource. The manager will drive continuous improvement in production, quality, planning, and safety while utilizing the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).

In this role you will:

  • Champion a culture change through the framework of High Performance Work Teams (HPWTs)

  • Achieve certification in 5s, VSM, Standard work.

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of FAA, EASA, CAAC regulations.

  • Drive continuous improvement through the use of the Eaton Business System (EBS), Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), High Performance Work Teams (HPWTs)

  • Champion implementation of Lean activities to eliminate waste opportunities of key processes.

  • Achieve key business metrics including Total Recordable Case Rate (TRCR), Turn Around Time (TAT), On-Time Delivery (OTD), Production efficiency, and Customer Satisfaction.

  • Hire, train and develop team members to be productive and efficient. Provide oversight and coaching to all team members.

  • Lead employees through strategic initiatives and goals

  • Provide employees with “SMART” goals aligned with the business strategy.

  • Actively engage and recognize employees.

  • Empower employees, provide resources and remove barriers for development.

  • Achieve MRO and spare part sales and margin profit plan goals.

  • Ensure Customer satisfaction through timely and accurate feedback.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Three (3) years of experience in Manufacturing or Operations

  • One (1) year of supervisory experience

  • Ability to work rotating weekends and support off-shifts as needed.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

  • No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred.

  • Ability to pull and process data.

  • Two (2) years’ experience with close tolerance manufacturing applications preferred.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction; (Six Sigma) concepts

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to work rotating weekends and support off-shifts as required.
