Your Day-to-Day:

Perform and lead reactor analysis activities across the eVinci program. Facilitate decision-making to accelerate technical progress across the reactor analysis groups. Identify and define technical issues, risks and challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution. Lead key technical teams, providing oversight while delegating work and mentoring team members. Work with analysis, system, and component leads on the integration of the design and analysis and work through emergent design issues. Interface with stakeholders on design progress, technical issues, cost and schedule. Provide technical guidance, direction, and collaborate with other personnel including partners such as national laboratories, sub-contractors, partners, suppliers, fabricators, and customers. Adaptable and flexible to changes in strategy, market, and design. Work highly independently - not only mentor engineers but also effectively lead a team of engineers in the execution of complex tasks.

Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: BS in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering, MS in Engineering is preferred Knowledge and experience in safety analysis or reactor design preferred Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong teamwork skills Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks Minimum of 8 years of experience required This position is based in the Pittsburgh area
