Global Foundries Technician - Manufacturing Technical Training (N2 - Night Shift) in Essex Junction, Vermont

Summary of Role:

In the Technician Technical Trainer role at our Essex, VT location, you will work on a team to support creating a culture of following standard work and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for coaching trainers using the TWI method and creating, improving, and developing standard work to maximize the quality and process capabilities of our wafer fab. This is an N2 Night Shift Schedule that requires flexibility across shifts to support business needs. This role is fully on site.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide training for fab certifications ranging from operators, technicians, engineers, and other job functions in the Fab

  • Provide training for New Hires

  • Content creation and teaching classes of 5-15 people

  • Agile document creation, ownership and updates

  • Work in a clean room environment wearing gloves and a clean room suit

  • Partner with management to determine training needs

  • Other projects as required by management

  • Support and follow standard work

  • Work in a team environment to meet production goals

  • Support Mfg by running tools when requested by management

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

  • Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years' demonstrated training experience and/or GF certified trainer

  • Adheres, demonstrates, and monitors Standard Work

  • Ability to adjust training style

  • Public speaking and presenting

  • Proficient in Agile

  • SumTotal skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Leadership skills

  • Work schedule flexibility a must

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to adapt and be a Leader of change

  • Language Fluency - English (both Written & Verbal)

  • Intermediate Microsoft Skills, Outlook, Excel, PPT, OneDrive

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree

  • Job Breakdown sheet creation and Agile submission/TCN updates

  • SumTotal Admin

  • Spreadsheet formula experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.

Expected Salary Range

$40,000.00 - $64,900.00
