Rite of Passage Residential Program Administrator (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, CACIII) in Escondido, California

Description

We are hiring a Program Administrator at San Pasqual Academy, an affiliate of Rite of Passage. The Program Administrator is primarily responsible for supervising direct care and clinical staff. Overseas daily operations in residential treatment homes for both clinical and direct care departments. Ensures programs are being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State, and Local licensing requirements for all clinical and direct care services.

To Be Considered:

  • Must be licensed - LCSW, LMFT or LPC along with CACIII preferred.

  • Have five years of clinical and administrative experience in hospital or residential setting preferred.

  • Meet requirements of the BBS to provide clinical supervision, including completion of initial 15 hours of supervision training and coursework and 6 hours in each renewal period while providing supervision of trainees or associates.

  • Have the demonstrated ability to manage multiple people and projects.

  • Be a qualified and certified group home administrator prior to January 1, 2017.

  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and review special management programs and presents these programs to the multidisciplinary team, treatment committee and/or group living staff.

  • Review and approve individual treatment plans and progress reports for all youth, handling the more severe cases personally.

  • Work closely with the Direct Care and Clinical Teams regarding the mental health needs of the youth and assisting with development of behavior management strategies/interventions.

  • Develop treatment program schedules and calendars with the approval of the Program Director, and coordinate contracted services (psychological, psychiatric, specialized treatment and community programs).

  • Assure the continuity of care for students by making appropriate mental health referrals and providing necessary information and documentation for transition to receiving units, facilities or agencies.

  • Participate in Child and Family Team meetings.

  • Oversee individual, group and family services along with the documentation of these services.

  • Overseeing delivery of the Rite of Passage daily program, including oversight of medical and food services and administration.

  • Develops and manages crisis schedules and assist as needed.

  • Tracks and reviews county entity documentation for completeness and accuracy, returning corrections as needed.

  • Monitor, evaluate and correct the daily performance of all staff and provide on-going supervision and provide supervision and documentation review in a timely manner in accordance with program and county entity timelines.

  • Ensure the highest standards are maintained to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct and to ensure the program remains in compliance with agency licensing and Rite of Passage policies and procedures.

  • Maintain safety, health and welfare of staff and residents.

  • Ensuring the program facilities are safe, clean, and well maintained.

Education
