Robert Half HR Generalist in Escondido, California

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance sector located in Escondido, California. As an HR Generalist, you will be the cornerstone of our HR functions, managing responsibilities such as leave of absence, employee relations, benefits administration, high-volume recruiting and onboarding, and reporting and data management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of employee leaves, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

• Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing timely and detail oriented responses.

• Assist in conflict resolution, addressing employee concerns with tact and diplomacy.

• Support benefits-related tasks, fielding employee questions regarding healthcare, retirement plans, and more.

• Handle recruitment for multiple openings concurrently, including resume screening, phone interviews, and hiring coordination.

• Facilitate background checks for potential hires.

• Submit job requisitions into the applicant tracking system.

• Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers to ensure smooth onboarding.

• Pull reports from HR systems, attend meetings to gather key information, and provide proactive support as needed.

• Use your strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels, addressing questions and providing support. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Benefit Functions within a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environment

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective liaison across all levels of the organization

• Proven track record in Compliance, ensuring all HR policies and procedures meet legal and ethical standards

• Strong capability in managing Employee Relations, fostering a positive work environment and mediating any conflicts or issues

• Proficient understanding of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application in the workplace

• Experience in Full Cycle Recruiting, from job posting and interviewing to selection and onboarding.
