JOB SUMMARY
As part of the EMEA Finance Business Process & Transformation team this role ensures the accurate and timely billing of reimbursables incurred by
and Program & Services provided out of the EMEA’s administrative offices and responds to billing enquiries in a timely manner. Additionally, assists
the Accounts Payable teams with vendor creation and processing invoices and provides technical expertise and direction to support the Leadership
Team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring compliance with Marriott International Policies as well as International and Local Standard Operating
Procedures (MIPs, ISOPs and LSOPs).
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience
Must be fully computer literate with good working knowledge of mainstream applications such as MS Windows and common MS Office
applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with PeopleSoft general ledger system a plus.
Job experience in accounting/finance field.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
Responsible for timely and accurate Owner Franchise Billing (OFB) uploads ensuring hotels and other Marriott entities are billed according to
contracts
Reply to all billing dispute resolution (BDR) queries in a timely and professional manner according to Marriott guidelines
Liaise with Accenture Hospitality Services (AHS) on OFB set-up matters including charge code, customer and entity set-up queries
Assist with billing related queries.
Ensure correct accounting of revenue & costs according to the relevant accounting standards
Input of invoices into the accounts payable system, including correct accounting and VAT is applied
Responsible for Vendor creation to enable invoices to be entered
Clarify any questionable invoice items, address issue or ChartField strings submitted
Assist with the regional commission invoicing from local entities to Marriott affiliated parties and the related accounting
Follow accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets
Effectively leverage centralized accounting processes via Accenture Hospitality Services
Coordinate and implement work and projects as assigned
Identify ways to streamline accounting processes and provides recommendations and suggestions on improvements
Maintain a strong accounting & operational control environment to safeguard assets
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Works with team to put sustainable work processes and systems in place that support the execution of the strategy.
Maintains complete and up-to-date information to ensure accurate reporting.
