Emerson Service Delivery Program Manager (ERP & SAP Applications) in Escazú, Costa Rica

Our company seeks a dynamic and highly proficient Service Delivery Program Manager to play an integral part in our team. In this role, your primary responsibilities will lie in orchestrating, overseeing, and harmonizing all aspects of our major enhancements, projects, and implementations pertaining to ERP/SAP. This includes planning, implementing, and finalizing all projects in line with the established specifications and timelines.

Role Overview: The Service Delivery Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of ERP/SAP Change services to our users. Ideal candidates will seamlessly merge administrative and technical skills, display exceptional leadership qualities and possess excellent interpersonal skills. They should also be driven by a passion for delivering comprehensive, customer-focused solutions.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that align with the organization's objectives.

  • Develop evaluation protocols for program assessment and improvement.

  • Ensure organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance are met.

  • Manage multiple projects, enhancements and achieve program and project goals.

  • Develop project scope, deliverables, resources, plan, budget, and timing in collaboration with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers.

  • Track status and reports for all ongoing and pending Change team initiatives.

  • Facilitate ERP/SAP Change governance meetings and communications related to ERP/SAP Change Initiatives.

  • Prepare presentation materials and present to all levels.

  • Ability to understand and evaluate technical solutions to ensure quality solution delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, such as GDPR, and standards.

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate program risks and deliver regular program reports.

  • Responsible for planning and tracking resource assignments, future resource planning, managing certain internal and external resources to obtain results.

  • Manage resource allocations across multiple projects and programs. Ability to identify resource constraints/over allocations in time to mitigate and/or replan.

  • Ensure all change is carried out in compliance with Emerson standards, key controls, and policies.

  • Create standard work process documentation as needed.

  • Responsible for the creation and/or upkeep of relevant LRP’s, preparation of required documentation and execution of stakeholder and stage gate meetings.

  • Provide technical leadership/approver coverage for Application Owner such as Emergency Operations, Transport Approvals, Client Openings etc., as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a field relevant to this, or a minimum of 10 years' experience in an SAP technical area.

  • Proven experience in project management within an IT environment, with specific involvement in SAP projects.

  • Strong understanding of SAP management methodologies, techniques and technologies.

  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Power point and Excel.

  • Sound technical background in one or more areas of SAP.
