Job Title: Truck Repair and Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Repairs: Execute both minor and major repairs on trucks OR trailers, ensuring that all work meets industry and factory standards.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine preventative maintenance on service trucks, including thorough inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Inventory Management: Maintain an organized parts inventory and keep the shop clean and orderly.
• Safety Compliance: Uphold a clean, safe work area in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
• Safety Procedures: Perform all tasks following established safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the repair team to diagnose vehicle issues and plan effective repair strategies.
• Diagnostic Testing: Carry out regular diagnostic tests on trucks to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Professional Communication: Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Record Keeping: Maintain precise and detailed records of all repairs performed on vehicles, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference.

Requirements:

• Must possess your own tools to perform job duties.(Toolbox)
• Proven experience in truck and trailer repair and maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety procedures and protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
