Job Description:

Technical Architect, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Erlanger, KY. Spearheading the creation of technology architecture roadmaps, standards, and reference architecture patterns. Play a key role in cross-functional solution design efforts, including applications, cloud platforms, data and analytics, networks, and security. Develop expertise in emerging technologies, particularly in the realm of cloud computing. Define solution requirements and conducting design reviews. Maintain and develop technical standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects and initiatives. Provide oversight throughout the development lifecycle to ensure adherence to defined architecture standards. Support IT enterprise governance functions such as vendor reviews, risk assessments, and maintaining knowledge of industry trends to inform architectural decisions. Stay ahead of industry trends and advise on their adoption and implementation.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive, related work experience in Information Technology (IT).

Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:

• IT technical design and implementation across applications, data, cloud infrastructure, network, or security;

• Generating high and low level solution design artifacts;

• Utilizing Azure and AWS infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS);

• Utilizing Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Software deployments;

• Azure security architecture, security architecture and identity management;

• Using at least one (1) of the following technologies: Kubernetes, Application Service platforms, or Cloud Big Data; and

• Working with Microsoft development platforms, Mobile development platforms, or Microsoft Data and Analytics platforms.

Must have or be eligible to obtain one of the following certifications in Azure: Cloud Architect, Security Architect, Data Architect, Application Architect, or Analytics Architect.
