Job Description:

Systems Analyst, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Erlanger, KY. Investigate data, seek opportunities to reduce duplicates, improve the quality and discover anomalies that may exist, and create specifications and designs that allow development of intuitive solutions. Provide deep functional and technical expertise for applications and products supporting one or more process areas. Participate in the preliminary investigation for project solutions request and requirements gathering. Collect data from a variety of sources, evaluating, and interpreting data, and drawing conclusions on solution options. Provide input into system fit/gap analysis and design decisions. Write detailed functional and technical designs for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and/or workflows. Identify system configuration needs and perform system configuration. Ensure solution compatibility with documented architecture, security, and data standards. Collaborate with other end-to-end delivery teams to ensure efficient and effective end-to-end solutions. Follow standard processes to create and maintain solutions documentations for projects, enhancements, and support requests. Share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the respective process area. Partner with development teams. Provide technical input for role-based security designs and solutions. Provide regular and accurate status updates and documentation. Provide technical expertise required to resolve escalated issues.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), Business, or a related field, and four (4) years of related work experience.

Must have four (4) years of experience with/in:

• Using Microsoft toolset to demonstrate technical and non-technical information, ideas, procedures, and processes;

• Data warehousing or MDM environments;

• Creating functional design specifications, installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems;

• Using SAP or Informatica in a corporate environment;

• SAP Master Material module;

• Eliciting requirements to implement the MDM Party, Item, and Cross Reference data model, survivorship rules, algorithm tuning, data standardization, testing and data validation; and

• Using SQL to analyze data.

Up to 5% domestic travel required.
