Job Description:

System Analyst - Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Archer Daniels Midland Company, Erlanger, KY. Analyze business processes and work closely with the Solution Architect(s), Process analysts, as well as business and/or process experts to develop, document and deliver end-to-end process and systems solutions which enable the organization’s strategy. Provide Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) expertise from a functional and technical perspective, and integration into process automation solutions as well as other Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) Solutions. Participate in design for and deployment of integrated end-to-end solutions; partner with other IT delivery team member to ensure efficient and effective design, development, and implementation of solutions. Interface with 3rd party vendors for technical consulting during solution design, development, and ongoing support. Partner with development (RICEFW) team members to ensure technical design and delivery align to functional specifications and adhere to needed quality. Share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the respective process area. Partner with other process and system experts to identify and implement business process continuous improvements opportunities.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Business, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience in the position offered or a related position.

Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:

• Designing MES systems;

• Technical integration of MES Solutions with ERP;

• MES integration into Process Automation Solutions as well as other MOM Solutions;

• Batch Processing;

• Error Handling Processes between ERP and MES and Process Automation Solutions; and

• Functional designs using common interface techniques / technologies such as PI/PO, MII.

Up to 10% domestic travel required.

Position requires physical presence in the Erlanger, KY office and permits telecommuting on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer.
