Job TitleSenior Project ManagerJob Description SummaryThe Senior Project Manager will be responsible for delivering our most critical initiatives. These initiatives are large scaled cross functional initiatives that create significant business impact. PM's in the PMO bring together technical, business, financial, product and legal partners and iteratively drive scoping, planning, and execution excellence. We expect end-to-end oversight and management and need people who are self-motivated, independent, and proactive. Our projects often span offices, service lines and time zones, and it's the PM's job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.Job Description*Responsibilities:- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of assigned projects to agreed schedule, scope and budget- Define scope and deliverables that support organizational objectives in collaboration with the project team and other stakeholders- Develop project plans & timelines; participate in ongoing project planning activities to include schedule development, resource allocation, issue prioritization, risk management, communication planning- Lead timely resolution of key issues, decisions, escalations, and risks. Identify and track risks and response recommendations. Implement mitigation plans as needed.- Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path- Remove barriers to success in a proactive and collaborative manner- Makes certain project communications are consistent with the size and profile of the project.- Ensure timesheets are up to date and reflective of current workload.- Manage relationships with variety of stakeholders to influence and negotiate project timelines and deliverables. Clearly communicates any changes to situation or scope.- Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate project reports including progress and health updates, RAID items, budget- Facilitate regular status meetings with project team. Participate in other project and program meetings as required- Chair project steering committee and governance meetings to ensure key stakeholders are aligned with the direction and progress of the project- Adheres to PMO guidelines and standard tools/templates- Ensures that the project is smoothly handed over to the business and Operational Support following a formal gate review process.- Manage project closure activities. Facilitates and documents lessons learned- Responsibilities may vary within the range of tasks and activities described, with specific objectives being set, documented and reviewed by the PM *Qualifications:- Project Management qualification such as PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, MSP certification, and/or Scrum Master preferred Knowledge & Experience:- Solid understanding of software development life cycles with experience in both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices- Proven track record of successfully leading enterprise software projects including 7+ years of experience managing medium to large initiatives with high complexity, visibility and impact.- Experience managing stakeholder expectations at all levels of the organization- Excellent written and verbal group and interpersonal communication skills- Stakeholder management; customer and quality focused- Critical thinking; analytical and problem-solving expertise- Experience leading cross-functional project teams- Business/Commercial background- Highly organised and flexible approach with ability to prioritise and work under pressure- Management of remotely located project teams is essential- Technical project management skills preferred- Proficient in the use of project management software (Smartsheet, MS Dev Ops, JIRA) Skills & Personal Qualities:- Very comfortable collaborating with product, business, finance, design, data science and research, as well as liaising with individual contributors, members of C-suite and vendors- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to prioritise and work to stringent project timescales- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for program success- Ability to set and manage priorities.- Strong business focus.- Keen attention to detail.- Time management- Business and report writing- Be flexible on the hours worked- Team player Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
