You'll make an impact:

As a Global Supplier Quality Manager (f/m/d), you will play a meaningful role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our suppliers’ products and services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Quality Excellence, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards across our supplier base.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of Business Unit SQM Requirements: Ensure compliance with preventive actions, technical specifications, and supplier qualification standards.Also collaborating closely with suppliers to meet quality expectations.

  • Global SQM KPI Monitoring and Improvement :Monitor KPIs related to supplier quality and work closely with and in the Quality Management departments to address any gaps and drive improvements.

  • Supplier Audit Planning and Follow-ups: Plan and conduct supplier audits with the global network and follow up on corrective actions.

  • SQM Community Engagement: Initiate and lead SQM community calls and facilitate knowledge sharing and lessons learned among suppliers.

  • Standardized Supplier Qualification Process: Collaborate with the procurement department to implement standardized supplier qualification processes (aligned with corporate guidelines).

  • Quality Assurance Agreements with Suppliers: Ensure that all suppliers have Quality Assurance Agreements in place, govern quality assurance agreements in assigned areas and coordinate with Procurement to address any gaps.

  • Sustainability Measures: Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives as needed.

  • Solution Business Support: Assist in supplier qualification for solution-oriented projects.

You'll win us over by having:

Education: The basis of your success is a completed studies master's degree (or similar) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Long-term experience in Supplier Quality Management and/or Quality Management.

  • You are an experienced and certified auditor according to VDA 6.3 or equivalent.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of core quality methods like FMEA and VSM.

  • Experienced in dealing with Global Networks with good communication skills.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English and German round off your profile.
