JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This opening will support the management in the day-to-day operations of the department. Job Duties This opening will support the Housing and Food Services Department in day-to-day operations. Primary responsibility will be with the main dining hall on campus, but may assist with other areas of food service responsibility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with ordering of food and supplies, inventory, and supervision of both full-time and part-time staff. Will be working with FOODPRO inventory and ordering management software, as well as POS and touch screen ordering terminals. Requirements and Qualifications Candidate must be detail oriented, organized, provide excellent customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be willing to work under pressure. Previous experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred.

Employment with the University for this opening will require the operation of a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties. A valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. A minimum of 3-6 months of experience is required. The candidate must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work nights and weekends.

The starting rate for this opening is $15.00 per hour, with the availability of merit based increases based on experience and performance. A typical schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday up to 30 hours a week depending on the needs of the department.
