Burgess & Niple, Inc Civil Engineer / Project Manager in Erie, Pennsylvania

Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer -- Project Manager to join our team in Erie, PA. This position is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our local team and utilize their technical and leadership expertise to lead and complete interesting and challenging projects.

B&N Civil Engineer- Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and design of municipal projects. Typical projects may include water system improvements; sanitary sewer system improvements; and/or roadway improvements. 
  • Create and develop scopes of work and budgets for projects.
  • Actively lead and participate in project delivery to create an exemplary client experience.
  • Monitor performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and manage risk. 
  • Provide mentoring, training, and coaching for engineering team. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program with a P.E. registration
  • 7+ years of experience
  • General knowledge of relevant engineering software, software experience with Microsoft Office required
  • Strong communication skills, quality control, and organization skills are essential to the success of this role
