Summary The Bulk Delivery driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating diesel-powered tractor-trailers to transport and deliver products or materials in the packaged or palletized form to and from customer locations for local and regional distances following Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and Company policies. This position unloads pallets loaded with the product within customer accounts, and repositions empty and loaded trailers, and interacts with customers and sales team while ensuring excellent service.
Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 4:00 a.m. Start Time
Days Off: Wednesday and Sunday
Responsibilities * Check accuracy and stability of the load. * Deliver product to customer. * Operate industrial vehicles and equipment. * Invoice and collect monies due. * Move, lift and load product and company property. * Secure company assets. * Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. * Settle all accounts daily. * Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications * High school diploma or GED preferred. * 1-3 years of general work experience required. * Valid Class A Driver's License required. * Clean driving record within MVR policy guidelines. * 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred. * Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus. * Customer service experience preferred. * Ability to operate a two or four wheeled hand-truck. * Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks. * Familiarity with DOT regulations.
