UPMC Behavioral Health Therapist II (Part-time) | Safe Harbor Behavioral Health in Erie, Pennsylvania
UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor is seeking a passionate Behavioral Health Therapist II to join our vibrant outpatient team!
In this impactful role, you will have the opportunity to provide both individual and group therapy as well as conduct occasional intakes. To qualify, you must hold an active LPC or LCSW license and have at least two years of related experience in a behavioral health setting. Your schedule will be daylight hours, Monday through Friday. Parking is provided at no cost and dress code expectation is business casual.

Responsibilities:
Therapy & Education:
Provide individual and group therapy to patients in various settings (home, school, community, etc). Educate patients on recovery.
Use evidence-based treatment methods.
Assessments & Treatment Planning:
Conduct assessments for new patients and create comprehensive treatment plans.
Participate in treatment team meetings, review patient treatment plans, and make recommendations.
Assess changing patient needs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Develop and implement new treatment approaches.
Referrals:
Discuss additional services and refer patients as needed.
Record Keeping & Documentation:
Maintain daily records of clinical activity including assessments, treatment sessions, and other patient-related work.
Manage administrative work related to patient care.
Quality Assurance:
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Participate in the mentoring of student interns.
Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.
Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.
Demonstrated leadership experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Clinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
Act 33 with renewal
Act 34 with renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
