Job Description Summary

The Manager of 3PL/LSP Operations will oversee the third-party logistics providers who are responsible for storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods to customers on behalf of the company. The role requires next to a close partnership with internal stakeholders, a strategic approach on performance management and continuous improvement of both 3PL and internal processes to ensure alignment with the company’s business objectives and customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with LSP/3PL providers to ensure operational excellence and compliance with service level agreements.

• Monitor and analyze internal and LSP/3PL performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate LSP/3PL operations with company systems and processes, ensuring seamless order to cash operations.

• Lead initiatives to optimize logistics operations, including cost reduction, service improvement, and process standardization.

• Ensure LSP/3PL providers adhere to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and environmental policies.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align LSP/3PL operations with overall supply chain strategies and business goals.

• Manage the replenishment of LSP/3PL sites from the main central distribution centers to ensure inventory levels are maintained and optimized.

• Monitor the accuracy and health of the locally owned inventory, partner with internal stakeholders to highlight and mitigate risk.

• Provide leadership and direction to the team responsible for LSP/3PL management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.

About you

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a focus on third-party logistics.

• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including order management, inventory control, and distribution.

• Proven track record of managing LSP/3PL providers and improving logistics operations is an asse.t

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

• Proficient in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience in leading and coaching a team of high professionals.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based (Erembodegem/Belgium) role with occasional travel to LSP/3PL sites and distribution centers.

• Collaboration with global teams across different time zones may require flexibility in working hours.
