Job Description

- Work on a video operations engineering team responsible for DAA (distributed access architecture).

- Upgrade legacy hubsites and systems need to new video delivery systems.

- Enable encoders and provide digital transport

- Help with dynamic ad insertion.

- Build new maps on controllers.

- Perform bulk encryption work.

- Configure, test, and resolve channel issues on set top boxes.

- Participate in periodic maintenance window work.

- Deploy automated solutions and dashboards for video devices that are intuitive and easy to understand.

- Quickly understand unique and complex platform architectures.

- Collaborate with internal customers on requirement gathering and clarification to identify opportunities.

- Solve issues in the production in various databases.

The pay range for this role varies on years and depth of experience and is between $70-$80/hour.

Skills and Requirements

- 7-10+ years of system engineering experience

- In-depth video engineering knowledge

- Experience with any combination of the following: DAC, DNCS, EC, VoD, IPTV, cDVR/DVR, MPEG, QAM, DOCSIS, multiplexing, encoding, MAs, etc. null
