*Position is Full-Time Nights 7:30p - 5:00a Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat

*This position will be more focused on patient care. Primary duties will include transporting patients to/from the MRI department and assisting technologists moving patients to/from the scan tables and preparing patients pre/post scan. Other duties may include stocking supplies, light cleaning, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Summary and Qualifications

*Position is Full-Time Nights 7:30p - 5:00a Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat

This position supports the mission of HCA/HealthONE of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the direction of the Radiology supervisor, performs clerical tasks associated with the operation of the CT, MR, and Angio departments. This includes customer service, greeting patients, making requisitions from prescription orders, preparation of the patient’s film record, accurate entry of patient information into the computer Meditech system, assisting Physicians on finding patient’s films and results, heavy phone volume, faxing of information and maintaining film file records. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:

High school diploma or equivalent. Medical terminology, typing and computer skills are helpful.

Prefer 1 year recent hospital radiology, medical office, or clinical experience. Skills commensurate with formal training requirements.
