Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Englewood, Colorado

Description We are looking for a diligent Payroll Administrator to join our team in ENGLEWOOD, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll for a sizeable workforce, managing payroll deductions including garnishments, benefits, 401k, etc., and undertaking payroll tax and year-end support tasks. You will also handle the processing of international payroll and occasionally support the accounting team with questions related to payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of payroll for up to 400 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Handle payroll deductions including garnishments, benefits, and 401k

• Ensure multi-state and semi-monthly payroll processing is conducted efficiently

• Provide support for payroll tax and year-end tasks

• Carry out payroll reconciliation and month-end tasks

• Manage international payroll processing to meet the needs of our diverse workforce

• Offer support to the accounting team, answering questions related to payroll and its impacts on the monthly books

• Monitor and take appropriate action on customer accounts

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator

• Proficiency in handling payroll for 101-500 employees

• Experience with payroll garnishments is required

• Must possess skills in multi-state payroll administration

• Knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations is necessary

• Familiarity with benefits payroll is desired

• Should demonstrate strong overall payroll skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information

• Relevant certification in Payroll Administration or related field would be advantageous

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Must demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
