International Compliance Manager - BTS Commercial Aesthetics

• Based in the offices in Marlow (3 days a week) with 2 days flexible working.

• Reporting to the Director, Commercial Aesthetics BMO & Compliance

Overview:

The International Compliance Manager - Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Commercial Aesthetics provides leadership and direction to International Aesthetics affiliates on compliance with AbbVie policy, standards, and procedures. They will be responsible for ensuring affiliate leadership have the information they need to make risk-based decisions enabling the acceleration of Aesthetics business objectives globally.

This position is part of the BTS Global Commercial Aesthetics Compliance team. Working as one team, we establish and simplify processes and tools to deliver efficient, compliant, and secure technology solutions to power better outcomes for patients.

Highlighted key responsibilities:

• Drives ongoing compliance with applicable local and global policies and regulations. Interfaces with local and global legal, privacy, information security and risk management (ISRM) organizations and aligns on requirements.

• Participates in process reviews and identify opportunities for significant enhancements in operational efficiency, overall effectiveness, and identifiable benefits to the company, driving automation and process simplification.

• Leads audit readiness activities and provides support to affiliates.

• Oversees System Life Cycle project tasks and is accountable for on-time and compliant deliverables in line with AbbVie’s policy.

• Leads BTS Commercial Aesthetics Compliance consolidation of metrics across the affiliates.

• Develops and proposes solutions to ensure on-going compliance with industry rules and regulations (internal & external) which are critical to organisation success and impact achievement of business area objectives.

• Drives training and awareness on AbbVie policy, process, and information security standards.

• Participates in IT risk management activities, including Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CAPA) management. Ensures identified control gaps are tracked to closure.

Qualifications

.Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

• Must have experience in compliance.

• Experience of managing multifunctional responsibilities, influence and being identified as a collaborative partner at all levels of the organisation.

• Ability to proactively identify, rapidly assess, and effectively manage & mitigate business and compliance risks.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams on complex projects.
