ALLERGY Senior Brand Manager, Northern Europe

This position is based at our High Wycombe office (hybrid working policy)

We now have a great opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager to join our Consumer business. Working within the Marketing Team you will be responsible for driving our Allergy brands in Northern Europe, reporting to the Cough & Cold, Pain, Allergy & Nutritionals Squad Director NE. You will be coaching and developing one direct report.

What you will do

  • Drive the growth of our Allergy brands across the UK & Nordics.

  • Full accountability to deliver the in-year full P&L and share targets, as well as shaping Northern Europe Yr2-Yr3 plans and deploying the strategy driven by the Allergy Global BDT (Brand Development Team).

  • Drive excellence in execution for Allergy in Northern Europe (including integrated business planning, media and data driven marketing, perfect store, revenue growth management and joint business planning with customers).

  • Working closely with the RDL (Regional Deployment Lead), and in accordance with BDT strategy, deploy effective creative campaigns and toolkits.

  • Collaborate with the Customer Development teams to address challenges and build opportunities that unlock share & category growth profitably with key retail partners.

  • Shape retail ready plans ( 1 year) and present to key retail partners.

  • Use analytical skills to shape and size commercial and innovation opportunities.

  • Have a deep understanding of consumer insights to influence and shape initiatives and strategy.

  • Lead management and reporting of Brand Marketing Expenditure (BME).

  • Develop and coach a direct report at Placement level, also lead the cross functional team working in close collaboration with the Squad Director.

Qualifications

Experience Required

  • Marketing experience in a local market with a strong track record of performance in a matrixed organisation.

  • Degree level educated or equivalent experience and brand management experience in an FMCG environment.

  • People management experience is beneficial, responsible for coaching and developing talent.

  • You will have experience developing, adapting and activating content & communication plans, including media strategy and deployment, data driven marketing and a deep understanding of customer and retailer requirements.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L development and BME management.
