Job Description
Controls and Avionics Solutions provides flight and mission-critical products to more than 170 commercial and military customers around the world. CAS products include fly-by-wire flight controls, pilot controls (inceptor systems), full authority digital engine controls (FADEC), power management systems, flight deck systems, cabin management systems, weapon controls, autonomous flight systems, and mission systems for the world's most prominent commercial and military aircraft manufacturers.

In this Chemical Engineer opportunity, you will bring your engineering passions and motivations to develop and manage processes within a fast paced and dynamic organization. You will make impacts in the following ways;
Develop manufacturing tools and processes
Provide process control and materials testing.
Support failure analysis investigations.
Support Quality Assurance Engineering and Design Engineering qualification and reliability testing.
Support Engineering and Operations in the development of concepts and designs.
Prepare materials for manufacturing use that are particularly hazardous, or require special expertise or handling.
Evaluate new materials and chemistries, find replacements for discontinued or superseded chemicals.
Perform other process support tasks defined in command media.
Owner of operations processes and command media.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors or a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
Strong chemical engineering proficiency required
Knowledgeable of chemical analysis techniques, chemical monitoring, contamination control, and managing an array of related tasks and projects for both sustaining and improving output yield quality.
Ability to apply chemical principles in new and creative ways
Expert knowledge of element, chemical components, solutions and mixtures
Understanding of safe handling procedures of all chemicals, including hazardous materials
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication & documentation skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Background in electronics manufacturing and soldering
Ability to digest mechanical and electrical diagrams and drawings to find root cause of problems
Knowledge of six sigma methodologies
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $83900 - $142600
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
