As we continue to grow and expand our operations, our client is seeking a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team in Encinitas.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients for services rendered.

• Record client payments accurately and efficiently, reconcile accounts receivable ledger, and follow up on overdue invoices.

• Implement collection strategies to recover outstanding balances, including contacting clients via phone or email.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely and professional manner.

• Evaluate credit worthiness of new clients, establish credit terms, and monitor credit limits for existing clients.

• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions, identify and address discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of client payments.

• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, provide regular updates on outstanding balances, and assist in the preparation of financial reports.

• Respond to client inquiries and provide assistance with billing-related questions or concerns in a courteous and professional manner.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements in accounts receivable processes.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

• Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
