We are offering a long-term employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in ELVERSON, Pennsylvania. As a Collections Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating and organizing collection activities, effectively communicating with customers and sales force, and maintaining customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to determine reasons for overdue payments and payment status • Record information about the financial status of customers and the status of collections • Receive payments and reconcile customer accounts • Communicate with the sales force on credit status, problem resolving, and payment strategy of customer accounts • Communicate regularly with the Credit Manager about delinquent accounts and issues that need assistance in resolving • Work effectively and professionally with the entire team • Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Account Reconciliation, and Collecting Payments to perform daily tasks and responsibilities • Ensure the company is the most responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly supplier in the foodservice industry • Coordinate and organize collection activities for the supply side • Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently. Requirements • Must possess skills in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Experience in Collecting Payments is necessary

• Must have strong communication and negotiation skills

• Familiarity with laws related to debt collection (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) is a plus

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
