Chimney Assistant

What You'll Do:

As an Assistant, you'll work closely with experienced professionals in awning installation, masonry, and chimney care, gaining invaluable on-the-job training. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with their hands, learning new trades, and tackling unique tasks every day.

  • Awning Installation:

  • Assist in securing and installing retractable awnings on various home exteriors (siding, brick, stucco, etc.).

  • Learn how to correctly install mounting brackets and operate drills and other tools.

  • Work with your team to ensure a safe and efficient installation process.

  • Masonry Assistance:

  • Help with the setup of scaffolding and mixing materials for chimney or fireplace rebuilds.

  • Assist in cutting and preparing brick, stone, or tile for installation.

  • Support the application of grout, sealant, and other finishing touches.

  • Chimney Sweeping:

  • Assist certified chimney sweeps with preparing job sites, cleaning fireplaces, and inspecting chimneys.

  • Learn how to install and remove chimney liners and clean dryer vents.

  • Set up safety equipment and prepare materials for each job.
