Superior Ambulance Service started in 1959 with one ambulance and today is the largest independent, locally owned, and operated emergency medical services provider in the Midwest. Superior employs more than 2,500 licensed EMT, Paramedics and Nurses, operating a fleet of more than 500 ambulances throughout Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Superior also provides Critical Care, helicopter, and fixed wing emergency medical transportation.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate job sites with team members to identify project obstacles, verify existing site conditions, and avoid potential surprises during construction

  • Review Drawings (plans, elevations, and MEP drawings)

  • Ensure work is completed according to project schedules

  • Coordinates architectural design and construction projects with outside contractors and Superior personnel.

  • Prepares and maintains project documentation such as construction estimates, budgetary information, progress reports, change orders.

  • Provides professional expertise in the research, design and development of facilities owned or operated by Superior.

  • Occasionally required to travel to other transit properties located throughout Superior's operating area.

  • Ensure that all designs adhere to governing zoning, building and safety codes and regulations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) and Illinois Architect License (Required)

  • Both must have C.A.D. experience and be willing to draw

  • Possess valid driver's license

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1 or more years’ experience
