Job Summary: Always Best Care Senior Services - Atlanta/Buckhead is seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Ellenwood. This individual will provide essential assistance to elderly and disabled clients in their homes, helping to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence. The position is Part Time, with hours from 10 AM-6 PM, Monday through Friday. The Caregiver will work as an individual contributor and report to the Care Supervisor. Compensation and Benefits: The position offers competitive hourly pay of $13 to $15 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. We also provide opportunities for career growth and development within our franchise network. Additionally, we offer ongoing training and support to ensure our Caregivers are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional care. Responsibilities: - Provide personal care, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting, as needed - Assist with daily activities, such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping - Monitor and document changes in clients’ health and report any concerns to the Care Supervisor - Provide emotional support and companionship to clients - Accompany clients to appointments or on errands, if needed - Follow care plans and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures - Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, their families, and team members - Maintain confidentiality and respect clients’ privacy - Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge - Adhere to all company policies and procedures Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care setting - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Ability to pass a background check - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Ability to handle emergencies and unexpected situations calmly and efficiently - Willingness to follow company policies and procedures - Flexible availability to work Monday through Friday, 10 AM-6 PM - Fluency in English, both verbal and written EEOC statement: Always Best Care Senior Services - Atlanta/Buckhead is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
