Tutor Doctor Private Tutor (In Person - Ellenwood Area) in Ellenwood, Georgia
We are seeking tutors who are professional, reliable, knowledgeable and passionate in the Atlanta area for students of all ages. Why Work with Tutor Doctor? * Opportunity to make a difference in the lives of families * Tutoring is one-on-one * Flexible schedule * We handle all billing and client acquisition * Students are pre-screened * Portal is provided for scheduling and tracking of student engagements RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct in-home tutoring sessions * Design and implement tutoring plan tailored to student needs * Establish academic goals and milestones with students * Provide constructive feedback to students and families * Provide study skills support * Align tutoring to the school curriculum * Schedule tutoring sessions clients * Maintain professionalism MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High school or equivalent (Required) * Tutoring/Teaching: 1 year * Teacher certification a plus * Have reliable transportation * Strong administrative skills * Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone * Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills * Must be 18 and able to pass a background check. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree (can be in progress) * 2 or more years of experience teaching or tutoring * Strong math skills Kindergarten through college STARTING PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND RANGE & COMPLEXITY OF SUBJECTS 'Work Location: Multiple locations Grade school specialties: * English * High school * Math * Middle school * Reading Schedule: * After school * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed
