Citigroup USPB In-business Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) Head Regulatory Risk Senior Group Manager - Hybrid in Elk Grove Village, Illinois
The USPB In-business Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) Head Regulatory Risk Senior Group Manager will support the effort to continue prudent growth of the business by continually searching for opportunities to improve and support transformation of RAF (Risk Appetite Framework)/RAR (Risk Appetite Ratio) across various business lines throughout the $250Bn+ U.S. Personal Banking Retail business. This position will help drive policy assessment and potential policy changes to achieve this optimization. The Regulatory Risk Group Manager will report into the Head of Loss Forecasting & Analytics for the USPB Business Risk.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a large, sophisticated credit granting or Risk Management/Finance organization within a major consumer card, financial services, retailing or consulting business. Their experience will have been gained in high volume, low-to medium- risk environments, where risk assessment, technological sophistication, and data mining techniques are critical to their success. This individual will bring a strong analytical orientation, an appreciation for broad-based risk/profitability issues and a strong understanding of P&Ls. This person will have a demonstrated record of performance including responsibility for balanced portfolio growth and profitability in a sophisticated, fast-paced consumer credit environment. This experience is complimented by excellent overall business judgment.
The candidate understands the short-and long-term profit dynamics for risk in various products and portfolios, as well as the complete consumer finance cycle. This person will help develop new policies and business practices from a RAF perspective and must have the ability to manage multiple tasks of varying difficulty.
Candidate will be responsible for:
Leading risk analytics focused on RAF/RAR initiatives.
Simplify and strengthen the end-to-end methodology for RAF including oversight, coordinating with multiple CROs, process groups and business leads
Facilitate Review and Challenge with Independent Risk as well as present to FCR, IA and regulators
Design & Execute controls for RAF Oversight and Attestation included in MCA process.
Assess feasibility, sizing and impacts of various strategic changes.
The candidate will prepare and present to senior business managers on a periodic basis.
Provide functional and business leadership these matters Independent Risk and Model Risk Management

Education/Qualifications :
BS/BA in a quantitative discipline (MS/MBA preferred) and 10+ experience in driving strategy analytics preferably in a financial services organization with expertise in understanding customer level data and segmentation analytics.
The ability to apply capital and risk principles toward strategic business objectives.
Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and possess strong interpersonal, organization and analytic skills.
Expert level ability in Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of systems, data and data infrastructures.
